Have you wondered why a transaction shows as pending or want to better understand what it means?

Understand how pending transactions work in Finplan and how to make the most of this feature.

What are pending transactions?

The Pending Transactions tab, located within the Statement, lists all financial movements that are waiting for your manual validation and confirmation.

These are transactions either automatically detected by Finplan or future transactions you’ve registered that are awaiting payment.

This feature is ideal to help avoid incorrect or duplicate entries in your statement. It acts as a security and control filter, allowing you to review before including them in your financial control.

Where do I find pending transactions?

Pending transactions can always be found alongside the account statement.

You can access them from:

  • The Accounts Balances Screen in the Finplan app;

  • The Account Details Screen for the specific account you select.

Once you locate the transaction list, select the “Pending Transactions” tab;

You’ll see the list of pending entries and can edit or confirm the ones you want.

If you have difficulty confirming a pending transaction, the Finplan team is available to help.
