What are “Account Details”?
Account details represent the primary information associated with an account in Finplan.
They are displayed when you select an account from the Balances list. Fields include:
-
Account name: the name you assign to identify the account.
-
Current balance: the amount available in the original currency.
-
Converted balance: the value equivalent in your default currency, automatically calculated.
-
Account owner: the name of the person responsible or owner of the account.
-
Account currency: the currency in which transactions are recorded.
-
Institution name: the bank, broker or platform where the account is held.
Among these fields, you cannot change the account currency after account creation, nor the converted balance.
