The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you enter Finplan. It brings together, in one place, the summary of your finances for the month.

In this article, we will explain what appears on the Dashboard, how to hide the values and how to choose the month you want to see.

What appears on the Finplan Dashboard?

When you open the Dashboard menu (called Painel in the app), you see a greeting with your name and the blocks below:

  • Account balance: the total money in your accounts, calculated as we explain in how the total balance is calculated;
  • Monthly balance: summary of income, expenses, transfers and exchange rate variation for the month;
  • Income and expenses by category: two lists showing where your money came from and where it went;
  • My cards: a summary of your credit cards;
  • Quick actions: shortcuts to add income, expenses and transfers, and to open cards, the statement and the Help Center;
  • Insights: automatic tips about your finances;
  • Transactions: list of transactions, with the Recent and Pending tabs.

How to choose the Dashboard month?

Use the month selector at the top of the Dashboard to see the numbers for another period. The monthly balance and the category lists start showing the chosen month.

How to hide the Dashboard values?

In the Account balance block, click the eye icon. The values get hidden, which is useful when you use Finplan around other people. Click the icon again to show the values.

How to use pending transactions on the Dashboard?

In the Transactions list, the Pending tab gathers the entries that are still waiting for confirmation. To understand how to confirm or edit each one, see how pending transactions work.

To see the full statement and filter by period, account or category, see how to filter and search transactions in the statement.
